Watch Miike Snow Go Nuclear in “My Trigger” Video

Sweden’s indie-pop group Miike Snow have released a new music video for their song “My Trigger.”

Directed by Pulse Films’ Ninian Doff (Migos, Royal Blood, The Chemical Brothers, Run The Jewels) and co-starring actors Adam Jones and Edward Hayes Neary, the video—a creative partner to the video for “Genghis Khan”—follows two world leaders on the brink of a mutually assured destruction nuclear strike in a tense Cold War-themed story (seemingly dramatizing the Cuban Missile Crisis).

The storytelling of the video is anything but typical: ballet, choreographed dance and a Marilyn Monroe lookalike seductively dancing on top of an oversized nuclear launch button, sensually inviting the American president to “Pull my trigger.” The video juxtaposes the American and Russian leaders’ hesitations and doubts about starting what can only be assumed to be an all-out nuclear war.

Miike Snow, who are just wrapping up a popular North American summer headline tour, will hit the road again in September for some of their biggest U.S. dates yet. Find their tour dates below..
