Single Paste readers, take note: Hollywood superstar Idris Elba has just put himself on the dating market. According to a post on the crowdfunding site Omaze, Elba will go on a date with the winner of a lottery, with proceeds going towards W.E. Can Lead, a non-profit dedicated to helping “schoolgirls in Sierra Leone become a new generation of dynamic female leaders.”
Elba’s promo for the date promises a succulent British accent closer to Luther than The Wire or Beasts of No Nation. Though the date won’t actually take place on Valentine’s Day, it will include a complimentary flight, hotel reservation and dinner. Lottery buyers can also pick up a number of other Idris Elba merchandise items depending on how many entries they buy for the date.
