AMC has announced the initial lineup for the forthcoming season of Talking With Chris Hardwick. The nine guests include Connie Britton, Michelle Monaghan, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Charlie Hunnam, Justin Theroux, Bryan Cranston, Elijah Wood, Damon Lindelof and the cast of Silicon Valley. There is no current information on the airing order, and additional guests will be announced soon.
In a press release, AMC promises the show, an extension of Talking Dead, will highlight “Hardwick’s singularly irreverent and authentic take on today’s pop culture landscape.” The show will also tap into “the host’s gift for deep conversation” while having a strong social media presence and the enthusiasm of a live audience. The show will debut on Sunday, April 9, at 11 p.m. on AMC.
For more on Hardwick, find Paste’s “10 Reasons Why We Love @midnight,” the host’s other Twitter-friendly late show. He came in at number 15 on our “20 Best Comedians of 2013,” and we recently reported on his forthcoming I-D-10-T comedy festival. In all likelihood, we will also report on Talking With Chris Hardwick, so keep an eye out.
