The Mindy Project‘s Been Renewed for a Sixth and Final Season

Fans of The Mindy Project likely can’t thank Hulu enough for continuing the show through its fourth and fifth seasons. And now, there’s one more reason to tip a hat to Hulu, as the streaming service has announced it’s renewing Mindy Kaling’s wonderful sitcom for a sixth and final season.

The show’s proper send-off gets started in September 2017 and will feature Kaling, along with regulars Ed Weeks (Jeremy Reed), Ike Barinholtz (Morgan Tookers), Beth Grant (Beverly), Xosha Roquemore (Tamra Webb) and Fortune Feimster (Colette Kimball-Kinney).

There aren’t any plot details or storylines that have been revealed for season six yet, but considering how much Mindy has focused on the “perfect romantic comedy ending,” it’s reasonable to assume that will be a through-line for the entire season.
