Alt-J Announce North American Tour in Support of Relaxer

Alt-J have announced a late summer/early fall North American tour in support of their forthcoming album Relaxer, which drops June 2 via Canvasback Music. The North American tour will be in addition to their European tour, which starts June 16 in London.

Alt-J have already released two tracks off the album, “3WW” and “In Cold Blood.” So far, both singles have been met with a mostly positive reception. Paste described “In Cold Blood” as “bursting out of the gate with angular, overdriven guitars, a menacing keyboard, and singer Joe Newman reciting binary code like some sort of indie-rock robot.” If the singles indicate what’s to come with Relaxer, we could be in for a great album.

Alt-J’s North American tour begins in Maryland, and covers much of the East Coast, Midwest and West Coast. You can check out a full list of tour dates below, plus the band’s official tour poster and don’t miss Paste’s 2015 feature “Alt-J: Alternative Approach.”
