2017 seems to be the year of jubilee for Stephen King fans. Not only are we getting It and The Dark Tower in theaters later this year, but also The Mist is coming to television. The new teaser for the screen adaptation is a shockingly brutal sneak peek, and it hopefully will bode well for the series.
While there’s probably something residing in the dreaded mist, the panic here derives mostly from a violent mob mentality. And there’s plenty of panic to go around here, coupled with surprisingly gory and graphic closeups of eviscerated faces and bloody corpses.
