We’ve said it before, Rapahelle ‘Ra’ Standell is one of the finest Montreal-based musicians. The Braids frontwoman is now back at it with a new single from the Blue Hawaii side-project she fronts with producer Alexander “Agor” Kerby and hot damn it’s great.
“No One Like You” has distinct Chicago disco house and Detroit techno vibes and it’s one of the many explorations of the nature of relationships in the digital world that Blue Hawaii will be tackling in their upcoming album, Tenderness, out October 6th on the excellent Arbutus Records.
