Eminem Confirms Revival Release Date

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for. While Eminem fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of his new album, especially since his new single “Walk On Water” debuted, it was declared last night via his social media accounts that Revival will indeed be physically released on Dec. 15.

God only knows what to expect from Revival, but based on the reception of Em’s Recovery album, released in 2010 after a long hiatus, fans will likely be brought to tears. Despite what any haters have to say, we can all admit deep down that Mr. Mathers does propose a sort of magic with his lyricism and delivery. It doesn’t matter if he is in his 40s—tons of artists go hard until they are old and gray. He says it himself in the song “Business”: “Marshall and Andre are here to stay and never go away until our dying day, until we’re old and gray.”

Needless to say, this is an important moment in hip-hop. Eminem holds a strong legacy in the rap game and many are relying on Revival to be groundbreaking. Revival will be released through Aftermath Entertainment, Shady Records and Interscope Records. Fingers crossed that this album is everything fans have been anticipating.
