Swearin’ Announce New Fall Tour Dates

It’s been a flurry of news for Philadelphia-based rock band Swearin’ these past few months, the most of interesting of which is that they’re back together and making music after their 2015 split. In April, Allison Crutchfield announced that her band had signed with indie label Merge Records, also her twin sister Katie Crutchfield’s (of Waxahatchee) label. The band also announced they’ll be releasing new music this year, their first since their 2013 record Surfing Strange.

Their first live shows in three years included a slew of opening sets for Merge harbingers Superchunk, and now they’re announcing more dates for a tour of their own. On Monday, Crutchfield tweeted the dates and announced Empath as support. You can find all their new dates via the colorful art (or in boring old plain text) below.

Last year, Crutchfield released a solo record, Tourist in this Town, and contributed to Waxahatchee’s album Out in the Storm. You can find more information about Swearin’ and their tour here, and revisit our 2017 feature on Allison Crutchfield right here.
