Celebrate “Valentime’s Day” with Netflix’s Big Mouth Next Week

Hormone monsters don’t take holidays off, as evidenced by Netflix’s announcement of Big Mouth: “My Furry Valentine,” a very special episode of the raunchy comedy we called one of 2018’s best animated shows.

It’s only fitting that the holiday special—arriving next Friday, Feb. 8—will be coming prematurely, with Valentine’s Day (or, as Maya Rudolph’s iconic Hormone Monstress calls it in the “My Furry Valentine” trailer, “Valentime’s Day”) to follow nearly a week later.

No word yet on when Big Mouth season three will arrive, but when Netflix announced the series would return for a third installment, all we were promised by way of a release date was that it was “coming soon.” (Are we still doing phrasing?) “My Furry Valentine” will have to tide us over until “soon” is “now.”
