Felicity Huffman, Lori Loughlin Among Those Indicted for College Admission Bribery

Felicity Huffman (Transamerica), Lori Loughlin (Fuller House) and multiple currently unnamed NCAA D-1 college coaches are among the more than 40 individuals charged in a nationwide college entrance exam scandal based on court documents filed in Boston.

Deadline reports that Huffman and Loughlin have both been arrested.

Those indicted are alleged to have paid millions to get their kids into elite schools. The colleges involved in the case include Yale, Stanford and the University of Southern California.

According to the documents, Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, are accused of paying $500,000 to USC to get their daughters recruited to the college’s crew team and guarantee their admission. The additional caveat is that their daughters never actually participated in crew.

Huffman’s husband William H. Macy is currently being referred to by the charging papers as Huffman’s “spouse,” leaving him yet to be indicted. Regardless, Huffman and “spouse” have been accused of disguising a $15,000 bribe as a charitable pledge.

Huffman is also accused of having her daughter take the SAT in a “controlled” testing center, with arrangements for someone to proctor the test with corrections to follow.

Andrew Lelling of the U.S Attorney’s Office in Boston said during a Tuesday morning press conference (per THR), “It remains to be seen if we charge any students. The schools are not considered co-conspirators.”
