Michelle Yeoh Joins Killer Cast of Assassin Thriller Gunpowder Milkshake

Michelle Yeoh has joined the cast of the forthcoming assassin action-thriller Gunpowder Milkshake, according to THR.

The Star Trek: Discovery and Crazy Rich Asians actress will star alongside Karen Gillan, Lena Headey, Angela Bassett and Paul Giamatti in a mysterious plot that is currently described as centering on Gillan and Headey’s mother-daughter assassin duo. Yeoh will reportedly play a member of a secret sisterhood of arms dealers who lend Gillan’s character a hand after things go wrong.

Gunpowder Milkshake comes from Navot Papushado (Big Bad Wolves), who wrote its script alongside Ehud Lavski.

Production begins on the film in Berlin this June.
