While the entire cast hasn’t been announced, Murphy has confirmed that actress Emma Roberts will return. It can be assumed that actress Sarah Paulson will return, since she’s been in every one of the eight seasons of the show. Cast members from the previous season, American Horror Story: Apocalypse, included Paulson, Roberts, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Billy Eichner, Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Adina Porter and Cheyenne Jackson, to name a few.

Other than the announcement of American Horror Story’s premiere, FX also announced the premiere dates for multiple other shows. The Sons Of Anarchy spinoff Mayans M.C. will have its season two premiere on Sept. 3, the second season of Mr Inbetween will premiere Sept. 12 and the premiere for the 14th season of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia will grace viewers’ screens on Sept. 25.
