Rapper Kid Cudi Set to Star in Forthcoming Bill and Ted Face the Music

It seems Scott Mescudi, better known as Kid Cudi, will be facing the music with Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in the forthcoming Bill and Ted Face the Music, according to THR.

Bringing together Bill and Ted for the first time since 1991’s Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey, Bill and Ted Face the Music will see Winter and Reeves rocking together once again. The plot of the film is still under wraps, but it was previously reported by THR that Brigette Lundy-Paine and Samara Weaving would be playing Bill and Ted’s daughters, respectively.

Cudi’s role in the film is also being kept sealed. The rapper-turned-actor has starred in films such as Need For Speed, the Entourage movie, James White and Vincent N Roxxy.

The 1989 original Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure quickly became a cult classic and jumpstarted Reeves’ career. The film’s original creators, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon wrote the script for Face the Music, and Galaxy Quest’s Dean Parisot will direct the film, which is slated to have an Aug. 21, 2020 release.
