Watch Andy Shauf Perform on CBS This Morning: Saturday

Up-and-coming folk-pop artist Andy Shauf made his debut daytime television appearance on CBS This Morning: Saturday over the weekend in support of his album The Neon Skyline. His performance of “Try Again” had a jaunty, baroque feel, complete with idyllic clarinet, with his chill rendition of “Things I Do” channeling peak Paul Simon. He closed out with title track “Neon Skyline,” with each of the backing band’s members in smooth sync. He shared a music video for “Neon Skyline” just a few days ago, ahead of his album’s release. The video reflects his ‘60s Laurel Canyon influences, featuring fuzzy black-and-white cinematography.

Shauf’s new album The Neon Skyline released just a few days ago on Jan. 24 via ANTI-. He will soon be embarking on an extensive North American tour, with support from folk artist Molly Sarlé and Atlantan R&B/country artist Faye Webster. The tour will span four months, with Shauf going through Canada and both US coasts. You can peep the tour dates below, along with Shauf’s appearance on CBS This Morning: Saturday, his “Neon Skyline” video and his recent session live in the NYC Paste Studio.
