Governors Ball 2018 Lineup Revealed: Eminem, Jack White, Travis Scott, Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Headline

The folks behind Governors Ball have wasted no time in stoking excitement for the 2018 festival, unveiling a jaw-dropper of a lineup highlighted by headlining foursome Eminem, Jack White, Travis Scott and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

The eighth annual installment of the New York City festival will also feature performances from Halsey, N.E.R.D, Khalid, CHVRCHES, The Gaslight Anthem (performing their The ‘59 Sound in full), Post Malone, Silk City (i.e., Diplo and Mark Ronson), Lil Uzi Vert, Damian Marley, Cut Copy, Sylvan Esso, Galantis, The Glitch Mob, Maggie Rogers, Dirty Projectors, Russ, Manchester Orchestra, 6LACK, DRAM, Margo Price, 2 Chainz, Japandroids, Kelela and plenty more. Further down the bill are enticing names like Brockhampton, LANY, Alvvays, The Menzingers, Wolf Alice, Moses Sumney, POND, Knox Fortune and Lou the Human.

Eminem’s headlining set will be his first NYC show since 2010—it’s been just as long for recently resurgent future-R&B outfit N.E.R.D. Governors Ball will be high-profile side project Silk City’s live debut, as well as The Gaslight Anthem’s reunion show, for which they’ll perform their breakout album, which we named one of the best punk albums of the 2000s. You’ll note that the festival poster below also has a redacted act listed between N.E.R.D and Khalid, meaning a quite prominent performer still has yet to be announced.

Governors Ball takes over Randall’s Island Park on June 1-3—tickets are on sale now, with special “Announce Day” pricing running until 11:59 p.m. EST, when regular pricing begins. See the fest’s full 2018 lineup in both poster and text forms below.
