What if we told you that you could brew a beer this summer with one of the greatest brewers out there? Brewers Retreat is a three-night event in Oregon and Colorado that pairs guests with master brewers, offering them the opportunity to connect with pro brewers and create their own beer. The next session is being held May 15-18 at the West, Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa in Oregon. There you’ll have the opportunity to attend two brewing sessions with brewers from Deschutes, Rogue, Fort George, and Buoy Beer. When you’re not brewing, you can relax at the spa, and enjoy beer dinners paired with special limited-release brews. There are also informational sessions where you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about beer and the brewing process. You can grab tickets now (hurry they’re limited to 46) for the May session for $1500.

This trip gives a whole new definition to the term “Booze Cruise.” Anoya Travel and Avalon Waterways have joined forces to create a 13-day beer-themed cruise. The cruise kicks off in Budapest, Hungary and then travels down the Blue Danube until it reaches Prague. The cruise includes an introduction to some of the region’s most famous beers, as well as tips from a European beer expert known as a “Beer Pope.” You’ll also go on a pub crawl through the streets of Vienna, attend onboard beer workshops and lectures, and attend an onboard food and beer-tasting dinner. The cruise departs November 9th, with pricing starting at $2,539.

We all know beer can be relaxing, but have you ever had a beer pedicure? The Lodge at Woodloch is highly regarded as one of the best spas in the country and offers a number of beer-inspired treatments. Enjoy a beer while having a Mud and Suds Pedicure, a warm foot soak that includes beer in the soak. “An exfoliation using hops & barley will soften the legs & feet while a gentle massage using citrus notes will come together in this beer-inspired pedicure to leave feet refreshed and senses renewed.” The 50-minute pedicure is $95, and pairs perfectly with the spa’s Mud and Suds Body Treatment, a 75-minute body exfoliation inspired by DogFish Head’s Positive Contact.

Asheville
Asheville, NC

With breweries such as Wicked Weed, Burial, and Green Man all within stumbling distance, it’s easy to see why a city like Asheville is a popular destination for beer fans. Book a hotel downtown and take yourself on a self-guided walking tour of some of what the city has to offer. One thing not to miss: Sierra Nevada’s new east coast brewery. Located just a short drive from downtown, the beer mecca has an outdoor beer garden, restaurant, and several unique Sierra Nevada brews that are only available only in the taproom.

Oars Beer Vacations
Locations Nationwide

Sure, you’ve probably gone to a few craft beer tastings in your day, but have any of them happened while you were floating down a river? Right, we didn’t think so. Oars offers unique whitewater rafting beer adventures in different parts of the country, where the destination is a fantastic riverside meal prepared by a local chef and craft brews from 21st Amendment, Big Sky Brewing Company, and Southern Oregon Brewing Company. Beer beside the water? Sounds perfect.
