Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is one of the biggest live music events in the country, growing so large that in recent years the festival has expanded to two weekends of genre-crossing musical innovation and constant surprises. While Paste was out in California for the festival, we were able to catch some relaxing sessions by the pool with some of our favorite festival artists. Song Premiere: T. Hardy Morris - "OK Corral"
Fans of Dead Confederate or Diamond Rugs might recognize musician T. Hardy Morris, but his debut solo album Audition Tapes isn’t likely to sound so familiar. Audition Tapes was recorded at Playground Sound Studios with the help of producers Adam Landry and Justin Collins. Morris also had a variety of friends stop by the studio to contribute to the tracks, ranging from Matt Vasquez (Delta Spirit) to... read more

Album Stream: James Wallace & The Naked Light - More Strange News From Another Star
Nashville-based musician James Wallace has a penchant for storytelling, and although he’s co-written with Abigail Washburn and toured extensively, his forthcoming release with band The Naked Light has endured several obstacles along the way. Wallace originally recorded More Strange News From Another Star for a project involving a monthly cassette tape series after being approached by a small, now-defunct record label in China. Enlisting friend and musician Matthew E. White as producer, Wallace wrote and recorded the record only to ultimately discover that the Beijing label had dissolved.
