By now you've probably wrapped yourself up in the French musings of Beirut's new release The Flying Club Cup like clothes warm out of the dryer. And since the band's just wrapped up its U.S. theater tour and is scheduled to sidle across Europe next, we've been getting a bit panicky not knowing where we'll get our next pseudo-European fix. Beirut Hits Theaters for Fall Tour

Beirut will play a short tour this fall to promote its untitled LP, out October 9 on Ba Da Bing! Most scheduled venues are “theatrical” in nature, so the shows will probably make for very nice places to take opera glasses and a date. If he or she doesn’t dig old-world-folk influences, it might be time to move on. Beirut's Zach Condon Hospitalized

Zach Condon of Beirut was hospitalized for a short time this past Saturday in Paris, France. According to PitchforkMedia.com, Condon suffered from “extreme exhaustion” and the band was forced to cancel the remaining shows on its current tour. Condon is recovering and the band plans on making up missed dates in the future.
