Canadian MTV gets 4Real

MTV has launched a new reality show that promotes world culture and social change. Entitled 4Real, the eight-part, half-hour series features celebrities like Joaquin Phoenix, Mos Def and M.I.A. traveling around the world to meet with leaders affecting change in a variety of countries that include Haiti, Kenya, and Liberia. In the episode featuring Mos Def, the mighty Mos visits the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro to speak with MV Bill, the country's #1 rap artist, who empowers favela youth in the community through hip-hop music.
