Salute Your Shorts is a weekly column that looks at short films, music videos, commercials or any other short form visual media that generally gets ignored.Despite Götz Spielmann’s reputation in Austria, Revanche was the first of his five features to reach the States. It has some unfortunate problems, but its release was a nice introduction to the neglected director nonetheless, and the feature was eventually nominated for an Academy Award.
