SweetWater 420 Fest Reveals Initial 2018 Lineup

Today marks the unveiling of SweetWater 420 Fest’s initial 2018 lineup, with headliners Umphrey’s McGee, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Sturgill Simpson leading the way.

The Atlanta, Ga. festival’s 14th iteration will also feature performances from Vulfpeck, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Stick Figure, Papadosio, The Record Company, Anders Osborne, Spafford, Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds, and Southern Avenue, among others, with upwards of 30 more acts to be announced in January. Like at last year’s 420 Fest, which featured four performances from Widespread Panic and two from the Trey Anastasio Band, the SweetWater team is delivering the jam-band goods in 2018, as Umphrey’s McGee will play two sets.

“The 14th SweetWater 420 Fest is well underway, and the SweetWater Brew team and I are working closely to make this Fest the best one yet!” said Jennifer Bensch, president of Happy Ending Productions, in a statement. “Our patrons enjoyed the double set format of our jam band headliners at last 420 Fest so we are sticking with this again this year.”

A press release details what attendees can look forward to from the rest of the fest:

420 Fest patrons can expect a jam-packed musical lineup ranging from jam and rock to alternative, hip-hop and EDM performing in the heart of downtown Atlanta in Centennial Olympic Park. 420 Fest signature features will return, including the tasty brews at SweetWater Experience tent, live comedy acts, local crafts & artists, food trucks, and Planet 420 environmental and non-profit village.

Both three-day general admission and “Big Fish” VIP tickets are on sale now. Three-day GA pricing remains unchanged for the fest’s third year running, starting at $89, while three-day VIP passes start at $243.

SweetWater 420 Fest is set for April 20-22, 2018 in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park. Find ticket info here, and an Umphrey’s McGee performance from the Paste Cloud below.
