Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher Announce Split Stand-up Album Back to Back

Cameron Esposito and Rhea Butcher have announced a split stand-up comedy album.

The married couple, fresh off their sitcom Take My Wife (which aired on Seeso until NBC killed off the streaming comedy service), recorded the album in Brooklyn. Titled Back to Back, the comedy album will have an unconventional structure.

Back to Back will include 12 tracks from their tour of the same name, six of which are duo tracks. Those six have Esposito and Butcher as a double act, and the other six will be solo performances, three from each comic. Featuring insights on identity, pop culture and married life, the album will likely appeal to any and all fans of Esposito and Butcher’s television or podcasting work.

Similar to their sitcom, Back to Back is the first project of its kind released by a same-sex married couple.

Back to Back comes out Dec. 8. Preorder it via ASPECIALTHING RECORDS here and see the album art below. You can read some observations on life and Take My Wife from Esposito here.
