Catfish And The Bottlemen Announce May Release For Sophomore LP The Ride

Welsh garage-poppers Catfish and the Bottlemen are set to release their second album, The Ride on May 27. Accompanying the announcement is the official music video for the lead single, “Soundcheck,” which you can watch below. It’s a continuation of the grittiness the foursome displayed on their debut LP, The Balcony, which garnered them the BRIT Award for British Breakthrough Act in February, but the song feels infused with a tad more sonic maturity.

Catfish and the Bottlemen have a U.S. tour planned for June in support of The Ride, stringing together a number of gigs between slots at Governor’s Ball and Firefly.
