Author Daniel Handler, known to many for penning the A Series of Unfortunate Events series under the name Lemony Snicket, has released a short video trailer for his upcoming novel We Are Pirates, a work for adults that’s due out in February. The novel is about two young girls who team up with a duo from a nursing home to steal a boat in the San Francisco Bay area. Handler teases that the novel is both funny and sad because, to him, “piracy is a sad story and a funny story.” Check out the short teaser below. No word on if Count Olaf will be making an appearance.
