Halt And Catch Fire Releases Season Four Premiere Date, Teaser

AMC’s period drama Halt and Catch Fire is set to begin its fourth and final season with a two-hour premiere on Saturday, Aug. 19 at 9 p.m. EDT, and we now have the new season’s first teaser.

Created by Christopher Cantwell and Christopher C. Rogers, Halt And Catch Fire chronicles the tech industry and the birth of the Internet in the 1980s and early 1990s. The final season will see the characters navigating the early days of the Internet and web browsers, pondering their destinies both personally and professionally, while the competitive nature of the tech world continues to complicate and affect their relationships. If only they knew what a a life-sucking, universal hell the internet would become for so many of us.

Halt and Catch Fire stars Lee Pace as Joe MacMillan, Mackenzie Davis as Cameron Howe, Scoot McNairy as Gordon Clark, Kerry Bishé as Donna Clark and Toby Huss as John Bosworth, with Anna Chlumsky (the hilariously cruel Amy from Veep) as a new addition to the cast.

Halt and Catch Fire was our number one show to catch up on for 2017, and we can’t wait for the final season of a show that has become more about relatable people trying their best than the Mad Men spin-off it began as. Watch the teaser for season four above.
