Hans Zimmer Expands Tour, Adding 19 North American Dates

Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer continues to flirt with his rock star status by extending his tour into the United States and Canada.

Aside from his forthcoming Coachella appearance, Zimmer only had three North American shows on his tour slate before today. Now, he’ll bring his recognizable and catchy scores to Nashville, Atlanta, NYC, Chicago, Toronto and a handful of other major cities this summer.

A press release reveals the concert will be divided into two parts: The first will be familiar scores from Zimmer’s major works such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Inception and The Dark Knight. The second part will include reimaginings of his music, along with a number of guest appearances from rock and pop musicians. Intriguing.
