Michelle Yeoh to Join Henry Golding in Paul Feig’s Last Christmas
Photo by Kevin Winter/GettyMichelle Yeoh will join her Crazy Rich Asians co-star Henry Golding in director Paul Feig’s romantic holiday comedy Last Christmas, per THR.
Golding, who also appeared in Feig’s last release, A Simple Favor, will appear in Last Christmas alongside Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke. Universal acquired the project from writers Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings earlier this year, and we now have more plot details on what was previously described only as “a holiday romance set in London.”
Last Christmas follows Kate (Clarke), an elf at a year-round Christmas shop, who begins dating Tom (Golding), a man who seems too good to be true when he walks into her life and starts to see past so many of her barriers. Yeoh’s role in the project is still unknown.
Named after the timeless Wham! holiday tune, Last Christmas will also feature the music of the late George Michael, including previously unreleased material. Feig will produce Last Christmas under his Feigco Entertainment banner, along with Jessie Henderson, David Livingstone and Thompson.
Last Christmas is currently slated for release on Nov. 15, 2019.
