The New Pet Sematary Trailer Has Risen

“Sometimes dead is better,” warns John Lithgow in his delivery of the classic Pet Sematary tagline in the new trailer for Paramount Pictures’ forthcoming remake of the 1989 film.

Starring Lithgow, Jason Clarke and Amy Seimetz, the film’s latest trailer showcases the extremes that come with the grief of loss, with the horrifying overlay that, ultimately, “they don’t come back the same.”

The screenplay was adapted from the Stephen King novel of the same name by Jeff Buhler and David Kajganich, and the film directed by Kevin Kölsch and Dennis Widmyer.
