Nick Waterhouse Releases Danny Trejo-Starring Video for New Single “Wreck The Rod”

Nick Waterhouse has released a new single titled “Wreck the Rod” from his forthcoming self-titled album, due March 8 from Innovative Leisure.

The single is accompanied by a wonderfully tacky video staring Danny Trejo as a late-night host trying to make Waterhouse sweat through his velour suit as he croons his way through “an old favorite.”

Waterhouse said in statement of the groovy new video:

“Wreck the Rod” finds Danny as an alternate reality Mike Douglas and some version of myself living out the ravages and indignities of the very lyrics I’m singing. Where’s all this media and content heading in 2019? We posit right to 1978, baby.
