Paul McCartney Announces First Dates of New ‘One On One’ Tour

Music News Paul McCartney

Following some truly sad news from The Beatles’ world today, here comes some happy news: Paul McCartney has confirmed seven dates on his brand new ‘One On One’ tour.

‘One On One’ follows McCartney’s ‘Out There’ tour, which ran from 2013 to 2015, and kicks off April 13 with Macca’s first ever appearance in Fresno, Calif. at the SaveMart Arena. The tour also takes Paul and co. through Portland, Seattle and a two nights stay in Vancouver with a full list of dates below.

The tour, as per its copy, promises it will be, “everything any music lover could ever want from a rock show—and so much more.”

Heck, we believe it. Shows last nearly three hours and cover material from Paul’s catalogue as a solo artist, with Wings and of course, with The Beatles.

“The One On One Tour will debut a brand new production, as always utilizing state of the art audio and video technology,” the tour’s press release says, “And to ensure an unforgettable experience from every seat in the house: Employing massive screens, lasers, fireworks and, of course, a staggering selection of the best songs ever written or performed, every Paul McCartney show promises a once in a lifetime evening that transcends and elevates the potential of live music.”
