The international trailer for the new, all-female-leads version of Ghostbusters is out, and you can watch it above. As Vulture notes, this time a man is allowed to talk. But are they objectifiying him?! Is there anything reverse sexist about this video? If not, surely some of the reactions will be sexist and/or offensive, right? It’s important for all of us to treat a fluffy blockbuster movie as a platform for our deeply held beliefs on race, class, gender, and privilege, just as we did for the first trailer, so please: HAVE AT IT! Ghostbusters hits U.S. theaters July 15, and international ones right around that date.
