The author, whose novel American Gods is coming to Starz, will see a sampling from his short story collection Likely Stories adapted for the small screen. Sky Arts and Sid Gentle Films are producing the four-part series, which will be released in half-hour installments.
All based in London, Gaiman’s collection of “dark and strange” stories play with reality and fantasy, centralizing themes of human consumption, destructive obsession and psychological cannibalism. When the news first broke back in October that the stories were being developed for TV audiences, it was unclear which shorts would make the cut.
