Stranger Things Soundtrack Gets Gorgeous New Vinyl Box Set

Stranger Things Soundtrack Gets Gorgeous New Vinyl Box Set

The deluxe box set for the Stranger Things soundtrack has been unveiled and it is fabulous.

The records will be pressed on green-and-white clear-splattered vinyl, along with a purple-and-blue psychedelic version from Invada Records. The box set will also include new original artwork, character cards, a poster and a new liner note from season one composers Michael Stein and Kyle Dixon, and Stranger Things creators the Duffer Brothers. Stein and Dixon, who make up half of the Austin-based band S U R V I V E, have recently been confirmed to score season two of Stranger Things. Their score’s creepy, throwback vibes received critical acclaim, and we’re pretty excited to see what they put out for season two.

Lakeshore Records will release the box set for Volume 1 and Volume 2 in North America on July 14, and Invada Records will release the sets internationally. You can view the unique designs below, find more info on all this here and check out Paste’s “How Stranger Things Can Avoid The Sophomore Slump.”
