Trump May Be Upset That John McCain Didn’t Thank Him for John McCain’s Funeral

This is the dumbest time in human history. When I saw the text for this video I thought to myself “surely our president cannot be upset that a dead man did not thank him for the funeral he put on for the dead man,” but alas, here we are—with that unreality well within our realm of possibility. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, the President of the United States.

There’s a nonzero chance that Trump doesn’t know that John McCain is dead, or even how death works. The flip side is that Trump is likely talking about McCain’s family not thanking him, but this is Trump we’re talking about. He should be given less than zero benefit of the doubt, and interpreting his words rationally is a difficult endeavor for anyone to undertake. All Trump can wrap his fast food-addled brain around is personal sleights, and anyone—dead or alive—who doesn’t kowtow to his every whim is deemed to be irredeemable. What an embarrassment this country has brought upon ourselves.
