Watch Behind the Scenes of Selena Gomez’ “Fetish” Music Video
Image via Interscope Records/YouTubeSelena Gomez’ knack for subtly dropping next-level pop hits is rivaled only by her seemingly eternal youth. Her latest hit, “Fetish,” is a synth-heavy track with bad-boy-turned-good-boy rapper Gucci Mane, and the Petra Collins-directed video is a strange three minutes and 47 seconds of glass eating and fruit holding. Now, you can watch Gomez trot around unscathed on set, proving that no pop stars were harmed in the making of this video.
The video is Sofia Coppola-esque with rather macabre imagery, softened only by the light pinks, oranges and yellows that make up the set design. Gomez tapped her acting abilities to give us a convincing performance of someone who seems a little too comfortable with sharp objects. She also reminded us of her acting past in the “Bad Liar; music video, playing a gym coach, a teacher, a mom, and a high school student.
