Josh Brolin and Danny McBride Have "Buck Fever" in Netflix's The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter Trailer

In the new Netflix comedy The Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter, Josh Brolin stars as the host of the fictional hunting show Buck Fever. When Brolin’s Buck Ferguson heads out on a weekend camping trip with his son and cameraman (Danny McBride), a gimmicky TV special becomes a heartfelt father-son bonding moment.

The trio behind Vice Principals and Eastbound & Down—Jody Hill, Danny McBride and John Carcieri—wrote the feature, with Hill at the helm. Brolin, who is having quite the moment, starring in a number of the summer’s highest-grossing films, is again reminding us of his range in the forthcoming heartwarming comedy.
