Haim Tease Their Return With Mysterious Billboards

Haim is back! Well, probably: A crop of mysterious billboards have popped up in London, Berlin, L.A. and Sydney that seem to indicate forthcoming Haim news.

NME posted a photo to Twitter of the billboard currently up near Shoreditch High Street station in London, and it seems like a pretty clear indication that we’re in store for an album release date or a new single at least—check out the post below.

It’s been a while since we’ve enjoyed new Haim music. True, they live-debuted two new songs in May 2016, but it’s been almost four years since their last spectacular album Days Are Gone. However, as Danielle said in a 2016 interview, perfection takes time. “We write everything, we play everything, and we help produce everything,” she said. “These things take time, and we refuse to put out anything we’re not 100 percent in love with.” We’re all for that attitude, but dear God, please let these billboards signify that the new Haim album is imminent. It’s been a banger year for music so far, so let’s keep it rolling.

While we wait for further information, check out 2012 Paste Cloud audio of Haim performing in Austin, Texas, below. Also, don’t miss our 2013 writeup on Haim as The Best of What’s Next.
