Amazon Reveals Most-Read eBooks of 2017
Image via HuluAmazon’s Charts service has unveiled their “This Year in Books” list for 2017, revealing some of the most-read and -sold books on digital platforms. Coming off a successful television adaptation, The Handmaid’s Tale topped the list of most-read fiction books in 2017.
The Handmaid’s Tale was written by Margaret Atwood and released in 1985—the Hulu series starring Elisabeth Moss took home many an Emmy Award in the most recent ceremony. Mark Manson’s The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck was the most-read nonfiction book, on the other hand. Meanwhile, the George Orwell classic 1984 sold nearly seven times as many copies this year as it did in 2016. (Can’t imagine why.)

Movies/TV Shows Increase Sales: In coordination with the release of the new IT film, Stephen King’s IT is the second most-read book of 2017.
Top 5 Unputdownables: Some titles are too good to let life get in the way. These include: Oathbringer, End Game, Artemis, Hardcore Twenty-Four and The Midnight Line.
