Spend Valentine’s Day with Ali Wong’s New Netflix Special Don Wong
Image courtesy of NetflixWhether you’re a lonely heart or spending the evening on the couch with your significant other, comedian Ali Wong is giving us the Valentine’s Day present of her third Netflix special, Don Wong, out on February 14.
The teaser for Don Wong doesn’t give away much—Wong poses in front of a slick sports car like it’s a Pimp My Ride promo—but in proper Valentine’s Day fashion, Netflix promises that she’ll divulge her “wildest fantasies, the challenges of monogamy, and how she really feels about single people.”
It’s been nearly four years since her last Netflix special, Hard Knock Wife, which showcased her signature brashness and revelations about the realities of motherhood. In that time, Wong has starred in Always Be My Maybe (which she also co-wrote), the beloved animated series Tuca and Bertie and Big Mouth, to name a few.
The special is directed by Nahnatchka Khan of Don’t Trust the B—— in Apartment 23 and Young Rock fame, who Wong previously worked with on Always Be My Maybe, and its executive producers include Wong, Ravi Nandan, Inman Young, Alli Reich and Corey Deckler.
