Billy Eichner’s First Stand-up Special Will Debut on Netflix

Billy Eichner, of Difficult People, Billy on the Street and Parks & Recreation fame, is finally going to do a stand-up special, and surprise surprise, it’s gonna be on Netflix. The streamer announced the special today, saying it’ll be taped later this year and will premiere at some point in the future.

Expect the special to mash up everything Eichner’s interested in. There’ll be some comedy, some politics, some music, some pop culture jokes, probably lots of yelling, and yes, some remote on-the-town vignettes a la Billy on the Street. It sounds like it’ll be some pure, undiluted Eichner, flowing directly out of the internet and onto whatever kinda device you prefer.
