Chris Rock’s surprise stand-up special for Netflix, the oddly titled Tamborine, is streaming as of today, Feb. 14. A new trailer for the special, included above, lets us in on what kind of topics Rock is tackling in his first new stand-up special in a decade.

The Emmy- and Grammy-winning comic begins the trailer by answering the question on most comedy fans’ minds—“Where you been?”—before diving directly into what it’s like being a black father in modern-day America. From there, Rock touches on his divorce, and points out what police officers and pilot have in common: They have to be good.

In his review of Tamborine, Paste’s Garrett Martin says Rock shows no rust whatsoever despite his long layoff, writing, “Rock’s comedy is just as smart and sharp as it’s always been.” The special was directed by Bo Burnham and filmed at New York’s Brooklyn Academy of Music.
