Watch Conan O’Brien and Thomas Middleditch Play “Hey, Fred Schneider”

Fred Schneider is one of our heroes. A human cartoon character, a musical Paul Lynde, a former occasional waiter for the dearly missed Blue Bird Cafe in Athens—the B-52’s carnival barker is a true original. He’s also the focus of an improv game that’s apparently popular with Thomas Middleditch and the cast of Silicon Valley. Middleditch explained the rules to “Hey, Fred Schneider, What Are You Doing?” on Conan last night, before playing a few rounds with Conan O’Brien and Andy Richter.
