The seeds of The Daily Show keep flowering: TBS has announced that Full Frontal with Samantha Bee has been renewed for another 26 episodes, which will take it through the end of 2016.
Full Frontal premiered in February, and although it hasn’t quite hit the viral ubiquity of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, it’s arguably just as great of a show. Bee’s recent piece about how the midterm election of 2010 was legitimately the most important election of the last several years should be mandatory viewing, and if you missed it you can watch that below. And audiences seem to agree that it’s a show worth watching: the press release from TBS touts that Full Frontal reaches almost 4 million viewers a week across its entire “ecosystem,” from broadcast to digital to mobile.
