The HarmonQuest continues. The original series from none other than Dan Harmon, of Rick and Morty and Community acclaim, premiered the first two episodes of its second season—“The Quest Continues” and “Demon Realm Devilry”—today, exclusively on streaming site VRV.
HarmonQuest premiered on NBC Universal’s now-defunct comedy streaming service Seeso in 2016, and was sold to VRV in August. Now, the show’s much-anticipated sophomore outing is here, and streamers can enjoy the first episode for free via VRV. Episode two (“Demon Realm Devilry”) and all following episodes will be behind the service’s paywall. HarmonQuest is exclusive to VRV Select, the house channel included with a subscription to VRV’s Combo Pack.
HarmonQuest is a live-action/animation hybrid centered on Harmon, Spencer Crittenden, Erin McGathy, Jeff B. Davis and their many celebrity friends exploring the Pathfinder Roleplaying World. Crittenden acts as Game Master while Harmon and friends embark on epic adventures through the magical realm of Kalata. Guest stars on the show thus far have included Paul F. Tompkins, Chelsea Peretti, Steve Agee, Aubrey Plaza, Thomas Middleditch and Kumail Nanjiani. Community’s Gillian Jacobs guest stars in the show’s season two premiere.
