HBO’s High Maintenance Gets a Second Season

Comedy News High Maintenance

High Maintenance has only aired two of its six episodes, but apparently HBO liked the reaction to the show so much that they’re already willing to commit to a second season.

According to Deadline, the show’s premiere was in the top five “assets” on HBO Go and HBO Now.

High Maintenance began life as a fantastic web series. It’s written and directed by Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair, with Sinclair starring as a drug dealer known only as “The Guy” who encounters a variety of interesting people while delivering his product.

HBO president Casey Bloys said, “The response to the new episodes exceeded all of our expectations. Ben and Katja are brilliant, unconventional storytellers and we’re excited to see what they dream up for us in our second season.”

The next episode of High Maintenance airs this Friday at 11 p.m. EST on HBO.
