Firmly in its 16th season, beloved American sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is as off-beat, envelope-pushing and hilarious as ever. Its cast has been firmly in the limelight this summer—as Charlie Day unveiled his self-directed film Fool’s Paradise, Glenn Howerton dazzled in BlackBerry and Danny Devito has endured as the spokesman of Jersey Mike’s Subs—and the show’s writing still unabashedly compliments the energy and passion of a show that still has so much left in the tank, especially after nearly 20 years on-air.

After some shenanigans and bad omens—which included a Chase Utley cameo, road tripping for inheritances and inflatable furniture schemes—Season 16 is fully in the groove. Tonight, Episode 4, which is aptly titled “Frank vs. Russia,” finds Charlie (Day) offering Frank (Devito) moral support as he squares off against a Russian grand master in a chess match.

On the flip side, Mac (Rob McElhenney) and Dee (Kaitlin Olson) are trying to find boyfriends. Dennis (Howerton) swoops in to help his friends find love and introduces the S.I.N.N.E.D. System. It’s a perfect callback to Season 5, Episode 10, when he created the D.E.N.N.I.S. System. Paste has an exclusive look at a clip of Dennis introducing his S.I.N.N.E.D. System to Mac and Dee. “The D.E.N.N.I.S. System, that’s a system for getting a woman,” Dennis says. “This is a system for getting a man.” With that double-entendre humor that makes It’s Always Sunny such a comedic force, it’s no surprise that a 45-second snippet is gut-busting even in its brevity.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is back with a new episode tonight at 10 PM ET/PT on FXX, available next day on Hulu.
