Watch John Mulaney Do a Tight Seven of Stand-up for His SNL Monologue

John Mulaney, comedy professional, hosted Saturday Night Live last night. Stand-up comedians tend to have the best SNL monologues, because instead of doing an awkward song-and-dance or some kind of meta-comedy about their public persona, they get to just do stand-up. That’s what Mulaney did last night, unspooling seven minutes about the announcements on the New York City subway, and that time his wife and dog had an awkward encounter with Woody Allen and Soon-Yi Previn, and how, shockingly, John Mulaney was actually a cool person once. It’s some good clean fun from one of comedy’s most beautiful boys, and definitely worth clicking a mouse or touching a screen to watch in full.
