Liam Neeson Reads The Kids A Disturbing Bedtime Story On Jimmy Kimmel Live

Liam Neeson possesses a very particular set of skills that he has acquired over a very long career … that don’t include how to tell a bedtime story to children.

On Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, the talk show host tried to help out parents who were trying to put their kids to bed at the late hour by unveiling the Taken actor from behind a velvet curtain, sitting in a red armchair, to read the children’s book Five Little Monkeys.

Neeson gets off to a good start with the reading, but soon grows impatient with the length of the book and attempts to summarize the rest, as well as questioning the story’s premise. Samuel L. Jackson may have some competition for the best children’s book narrator.

Liam Neeson can be seen in starring in Run All Night, in theaters on March 13, with Ed Harris and Joel Kinnamon.
