Stop Us If You’ve Heard This One: Louis C.K. Adds More Tour Dates

Comedy News louis c.k.

In news that should surprise no one, recent Jeopardy Power Players champion and one-man comedy army Louis C.K. is adding stops to his much-buzzed-about world stand-up tour. “A lot of shows are selling out quickly so we are adding shows in some of those cities,” C.K. explained in an email announcing the new dates, which are as follows:

The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco on Friday, July 8th.
Another 2nd show at the Forum in Los Angeles. This one on Monday, July 11th.
A third show at MSG in NYC on Thursday, September 15th.
And another night at Wembley Arena in London has been added for Saturday, August 13th.

For those of you who don’t live in those cities, never fear: C.K. hasn’t forgotten you.

We will add more shows and more cities to this part of the tour and please remember that this tour will continue into early next year and more dates and cities will be announced in July. So please don’t write me and say “What about Portland? What about Boston!?” Just give me a chance. I’ll get there.

C.K. also used the email announcement to call fans’ attention to his ten-episode dramedy Horace and Pete, available for sale on his website. The comic had strong words for recent media reports on his series:

It’s been a great success and has almost earned as much as it costs to make, which is a rare feat for any television show. Also please ignore the very very very very very stupid clickbait press that says the show was “cancelled” because we FINISHED it. That was one of the dumbest most wilfully stupid things I ever saw. God Bless America.

(Ahem: for the record, that does not include us.)

Lastly, C.K. shared that he will be producing a stand-up special starring Barry Crimmins, whom C.K. describes as “a deep and sharp and hilarious political satirist and a real comic treasure.” The special will be shot in Lawrence, Kan. on June 4, with tickets available here, and the special itself to be made available on C.K.’s website soon after.

We will continue to update you on this tour as more stops are added. In the meantime, find C.K.’s updated list of tour dates below, with asterisks indicating new dates. Tickets are available here.
